Thanks for helping me with this issue, &nbsp;However, the customer left town for a few days. &nbsp;I called him and he says we can work with this again when he gets back. &nbsp;I suggested that he just open up a new account with a new email and password. &nbsp;He says he is getting at least a 1000 emails a day on his phone (might be an exaggeration). &nbsp;Somebody, no doubt, has hacked into his account.

A customer of mine called this morning and says that yahoo has locked him out of his account due to suspicious activity and is asking for his credit card information to get back into his account, which, to me, is a scam to attempt to get his credit card info. &nbsp;I have attached a snapshot of the screen that I am referring to. &nbsp;How can my customer get back into his account without giving away his credit card info?<br />

How to get back into a yahoo account that has been locked out

A vulnerability is a weakness which allows an attacker to reduce a system's information assurance. Vulnerability is the intersection of three elements: a system susceptibility or flaw, attacker access to the flaw, and attacker capability to exploit the flaw. Vulnerabilities

Security is the protection of information systems from theft or damage to the hardware, the software, and the information on them, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. The main goal of security is protecting assets, and an asset is anything of value and worthy of protection.  Information Security is a discipline of protecting information assets from threats through safeguards to achieve the objectives of confidentiality, integrity, and availability or CIA for short. On the other hand, disclosure, alteration, and disruption (DAD) compromise the security objectives.
