Our Cisco is poe and most ports are phone or comp so either can go in. Dont know what model you are using but mine is simply thru the gui. Dont know what the command is...sorry
Data & Voice will work by default - no extra configuration required in order to support Data & Voice together.

The trick is in the configuration of VLANs. There's not really one command that is going to make this work for you. The 12 in the line above is referring to VLAN ID 12.

Not clear what you are asking. Some switches include auto-vlaning based on Mac addresses that identify phones.
So a port into which a phone us plugged in will auto-associate with the voice vlan, plugging in a computer on that port will associate it to the data vlan which commonly us the default.

These switches/Poe are commonly where one finds those settings.
Could you clarify what you mean/trying to get answered.
VoIP is a subset/specialized of data........

I was looking in terms of making the ports as general ports and allowing the two vlans. One for the voice and the other for the data. Here is a snapshot of my configuration on the port I just need to know if this okay to do. This is for dell switch

spanning-tree portfast
switchport mode general
switchport general pvid 10
switchport general allowed vlan add 10,11
switchport access vlan 10
voice vlan 11
The auto-vlan port assignment?
I think the issue deals with how the vlan (tagging) that ifvlan10 or vlan11 will be allowed on the port where that rule applies.

You want to define all the ports as outline and have it function correctly no matter what gets plugged into it as intended.
