Looking to exFAT Driver for Win XP
Well tittle says it all - I am looking for the MS drivers to add support for exFAT in Windows XP.

As you are all aware MS has stopped support and as such all download links seem invalid. Is there still an "official" or "not so official" way to get those patches ?

Windows Updates for XP still work.

But why not just use NTFS?

Agree, but if you need exFAT try the Windows Server 2003 32-bit drivers. They might work. The XP link here is dead.

FYI the Windows Server 2003 package does not work in XP -- gives you a "The version of Windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install" message.

Now THAT's clever - thought about using the 2003 version & hack the installer but this wayback approach did the trick !

The 'Accepted Solution'  (garycase) 2016-3-6 ........   the link doesn't go there for me.    Has it moved/been cancelled, or is it just me?

Just tried it and it works perfectly => are you following the instructions (i.e. go to the WayBack page; scroll down; and then click on the "Click Here" button to restart the download.)

You have to play around with the site to get to that link, in my case I typed in the data given and then cut and copied it into the address line on top of the way back machine.  It's getting harder and harder to get there so I'm guessing someone is not thrilled that we can see SDXC cards in a standard XP 32 bit machine!

I've done this in 3 different browsers, and they all work perfectly ... you just click on the link scroll down the page about halfway to where it says "Thanks you for Downloading" ... and then click on the "click here" where it says "If your download does not start after 30 seconds, Click here"

Hi GaryCase,

First of all, let me applaud you for such a fine solution.  It absolutely works.  My previous comment was from the following result I had this morning.User generated image  There IS a solution for this and the problem may not exist on your computer, OS, browser or your internet provider.  Mine happens to be Time Warner and they can be buggy on certain things.  For example, PayPal transactions do not play nice sometimes on TW.

You're second part of your solution works perfectly.  Which is...

INTO THE ADDRESS BAR OF ANY BROWSER, WITHOUT GOING TO THE WAY BACK MACHINE WEBSITE, AND THERE YOU WILL FIND IT.  (COMPLIMENTS OF THE WAYBACKMACHINE).
