I have a single page HTML website with a banner image on it that is 1920px wide.<br />
<br />
When viewed on a mobile device or in a browser on a desktop that is smaller than 1920px wide I see horizontal scrollbars.<br />
<br />
I do not want this.<br />

I would like the image to be responsive and adapt its width (and proportional height) based on the device it is being viewed on.<br />

I would like to to this using CSS.<br />
