Magento themes

I wonder if anyone out there can give me some guidance about buying in 3rd party themes for magento...e.g.
how many of them really give a 360 store front-responsiveness/theme consistent throughout the screens/ etc.
The best way to browse for them- is there a central repository? or do you have to go in and out of vendor websites.

Do you find these themes are really what one would hope (although I know, frickin hard to achieve) , i.e. are they really 'consistent throughout the store' + work on different screen sizes?

Sorry about this late reply.

Yes, they are very consistent.    Envato is a big name in the digital media business.   I've used them for years and found the files to great quality, but i've seen low quality files too.

Envato has files created by authors all over the world.    Envato does do quality control but sometimes files loose support from the author or the author might not have created a decent file to begin with,   It happens.      The trick, like so many other products on the web, is to use the customer reviews to give you a good idea of what is being sold.    Just like products at Amazon.    I've found in the hundreds of products i've purchased that these reviews have successfully pointed me in the right direction.

Good luck :)
