Scanning for Cannon Imagistics im4511 printer
I am looking to scan documents from the Cannon Imagistics im4511 printer.
Do you know how we can scan from this Printer and send file to our email?
Any suggestions?

Have a look at the Network Scanning Operations Manual. Starting on page 5 it gives instructions for setting up the scan destination. You can select from scan-to-email, scan-to FTP, and Scan-to-Desktop. Settings for Scan-to-Email start on page 6.

On the web interface, I do a test and get "Connection successful."
But Its giving me an error when I hit scan on the printer -- "network error CE-03"
I have set up the source and destination emails, SMTP server and ports.
Not sure what is missing.

You nailed it the SMTP server (SMTP.GOOGLE.COM) was not working as it used SSL and this is an old printer that does not support SSL.
So I had to use the SMTP which does not use SSL. :-)

Do you have idea on how to reset the counts on the printer (Print count, copy count etc.) ?
Printers do not let you reset print counts as that would mean that the service people can no longer determine the past life of the printer. In some cases it can be done by a service technician, from a hidden service menu.
Printers have a specified number of prints, after which the manufacturer is no longer obliged to honour warranty. This is regardless of the number of consumables and other parts that have been replaced, and covers general wear and tear. The user is not normally told about this, but it will be somewhere in the specs or warranty statement. As a guide, a printer's life is typically about 6 times its monthly duty cycle rating. In other words, if the printer has a duty cycle of 30,000 pages/month, its design life is about 180,000 pages. That's also a good reason to always select a printer model that is rated well in excess of what you expect to print!
