Latest java MSI for group policy install
Hi Experts,
I seem to be struggling to get hold of the latest java msi installer just for a simple group policy rollout. Can someone point me to an exact link, I've created an account on oracle, looking at the downloads on there, but they seem to only have exe files.
Thanks.

You can launch the EXE and then grab the MSI from your Appdata folder. Make sure that hidden files are visible and search for *.msi
Joseph hit the nail on the head - and that is what I do.

https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28931512/Latest-java-MSI-for-group-policy-install.html?anchorAnswerId=41497759#a41497759 describes a working solution. Some earlier comments no longer apply to current versions or, apart from https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28931512/Latest-java-MSI-for-group-policy-install.html?anchorAnswerId=41497444#a41497444, which applies (though very complicated).
So I suggest a split between mine and https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28931512/Latest-java-MSI-for-group-policy-install.html?anchorAnswerId=41497444#a41497444

By the way, I noticed a typo in my original comment: of course the switch has to be "/s" and not "7s".
