Troubeshooting airprint - is there more than it works or not? And what if it doesn't
Specificcally concerning an HP DJ 3050A printer that supposedly does airprint.
The user said it worked before at home from his ipad. He moved it to his small office and it's not showing up in the ipad.
I reset the printer / connected with a USB to a laptop to set up the printer on the wifi at the office.
PCs on the network CAN print to this printer and an HP Envy (a newer printer) - so both are on the same subnet.
The ipads and iphones CAN see the Envy when you go into the up arrow icon, print, select printer.
Is there more than 'it's in the list' or it's not to try to troubleshoot airprint?
And if you can't really troubleshoot the airprint, another solution is software that installs on a PC to share the printer in airprint? Or is it an app on the phone?
Any recommendations for that product?
thanks!

Delete the printer from the iPad and re-install it. It is looking for it at its old location.

Delete the printer from the iPad ?
we're not seeing the printer on any ios device (when we click on the up arrow icon, then choose print, then select printer).
I didn't think there's any configuration for printers on IOS beyond that? Sorry if my question wasn't clear

turned out the firmware on the wireless access point was a little out of date. Updated that and the printer was accessible via airprint.
