The user expected to have the same desktop layout as they do when they are logged in at work. They are using the same work login credentials. Seems like it should be the same layout.

Assuming they use Windows RDP they should have the same programs available as they do at work. The layout of the icons may be rearranged because of resolution changes. I fit my icons into an 800x600 space to avoid this.
