URLs not working in Internet Explorer after I disconnect from VPN
I am using Parallels to run a virtual Windows 8.1 on my Macbook.
My company restricts some URLs if I am working remotely connected to the corporate network via VPN. When I disconnect my VPN to access these URLs, Internet Explorer and my .Net applications on Windows 8.1 still cannot connect to these URLs while Chrome is able to connect without a problem. It looks like IE is still directed to whatever the server it was connecting when VPN was on.
To get these URLs working in IE, I restart Windows 8.1 virtual machine.
Is there a better way to instruct Internet explorer and .Net applications to recognize that I am no longer connected to VPN?
VPN is configured on the Macbook itself in System Preferences.
