advanced wordpress question
I'm about to do a custom build and usually I will use skeleton for WordPress as my blank responsive theme. This current project isn't the old school 960 grid with the content wrapper centred in the view-port. I'm glad, because I want to do a full width layout and get away from those old layouts and the 960 grid stuff.
I could code the theme by hand and make it responsive etc no problem but I notice the Sage theme by roots.io and I need some expert help here. I've never used bower, gulp, composer, sass etc. I see this sage theme uses some of these and my question is:
If I learned to develop a custom theme using Sage which appears to have some dependencies like bower, gulp, compass etc, if developed on my local machine, how would this deploy on a shared hosting account like godaddy? Do I need to install some stuff in the hosting account to support these dependencies? Could be a retarded question but I need someone to explain the basic workflow concept for me.
thanks
