One Note on Macs: Able to sync with internal company network?
I was asked this question recently and don't have a Mac to test with.
Would One Note for Mac be able to sync files on an internal network when connected via VPN?
One user who has a personal Mac says he hasn't been able to but I haven't looked at it myself.

i don't think OneNote syncs between computers directly via internal network, it syncs with Microsoft's cloud services, therefore just make sure OneNote computers, whatever they are Macs or PCs, can access the Internet with no issues.
Do you mean OneDrive instead of OneNote?
OneNote is just a note taking app and it will need user interaction to take the notes.

One Note for Macs is what I'm asking for: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-onenote/id784801555?mt=12
It is used by many people here to take notes and all notes are saved on our internal file server.
The Windows version works fine with this as it can be pointed to any server for saving/syncing notes.
The Mac version I've heard is different but haven't been able to confirm as I don't have any Macs to check with.
