asked on EVA 4400 newbie questions
I got few questions concerning the EVA4400 as I am not familiar with SAN's.
we have a movie production studio, and EVA4400 is where all our movies are stored.
we were out of space, and when asked, we were told that the virtual shard drive was full.
what is the process to make it bigger? and what is the total available space. and to increase the total available space can we simply get bigger hard drives and hot swap them without letting the SAN know or configure anything in advance?
Note: I have fair IT knowledge, but no experience with SAN's
