EMC PowerPath
my customer has a Windows server attached with EMC volumes. Recently I deployed a new Dell Compellent FC SAN storage and present a new Compellent volumes to that server as well.
That server has EMC PowerPath installed, hence I can't use Windows Native MPIO for my Compellent volumes. I know there is a way to configure the PowerPath not to managed non EMC volume, but from internet, I only found those command that apply to unix/Linux servers.
is there any guide I can refer for Windows Server?

Based on the info you provide it seems to be correct, look within powerpath to see to which HBas it is attached.

I found there is Generic Class Storage selected YES to managed by powerpath. will it affect anything?
i think this setting deals with powerpath managing virtual storage allocation.
using mpio, are you able to hind to the other hba and see the allocated Luns from the new San?

but from the powermt dispay dev=all, I don't see any Compellent volume is managed by PowerPath as well.
from Windows Disk Management, the single volume of Compellent appeared as 4, so I conclude that the PowerPath is not managing the Compellent. Am I right?
