I have Microsoft BT Mouse I can't pair.

when I pair the keyword it asks me to type the pin code, when I connect the mouse it doesn't and always fails to pair saying wrong pin code.

Ar there any other Bluetooth devices nearby that might be interfering?  Phone?  Tablet?  Earpiece?

no, it's finds it, and the keyboard pairing works fine.
At the point of pairing cancel the PIN request and let it pair. Works for me on my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.

Where do I cancel the PIN request ?
When I got that message, I just closed the dialogue and the pairing continued.

I don't have that, it just says pairing... and after a 15-20 seconds says failed.

By the way, my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse (I have 2 of them) chews through AAA batteries in less than a month.

I used to have (for 5 years) a Logitech M470 (?) Bluetooth mouse but it broke. I just got (30 minutes ago) a Logitech M557 Bluetooth mouse.

I removed the Microsoft Mouse and use my keyboard mouse to add a new mouse and it was working before the install had even finished. The batteries are supposed to last nearly a year.

That is irrelevant to the question, which still is unanswered.
I answered your question about how to get the Microsoft Mouse working above. As I said, works for me. Did you try my steps.

Yes, and on a couple of computer. same issue.
New information. You may have a defective mouse. That could cause what you see.

I replaced the mouse to a different brand. do know if that was the real problem. but that was my solution
Thanks for the update. Yes, a new mouse could easily be the solution here. The Microsoft Mouse is difficult to pair (but I have done it). The Logitech mouse is easy to pair.
