Adobe InDesign Creative Cloud 2015 Crashes After New Update

Hello,

We have about 5 users who just updated their Adobe InDesign Creative Cloud 2015 software to the latest version today. They are now getting a prompt that "InDesign has stopped working, check if Microsoft has a solution." We also get to the point where they launch InDesign and it just crashes without error.

I have tried uninstalling and then running the Adobe Creative Cloud cleanup tool and reinstall. I'm able to open all the other programs except for InDesign. Below is a error report we receive:

Faulting application name: InDesign.exe, version: 11.3.0.34, time stamp: 0x56d9d456
Faulting module name: typekitC4.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x56d9d296

Thank you for your help!

Not a solution, but a suggestion/best practice: update one test computer, test it for a couple of days, then update the rest. It works for Windows updates, Office updates, Adobe updates, etc.

It will save you a lot of time over the years.

The Microsoft/Adobe QC guys definitely did not test their updates on your systems...

HTH,
Dan

Ran this solution on 3 different computers in which each of the problems were resolved after that.
