Try setting up &nbsp;static ip's &nbsp;on the droid and the windows box &nbsp;so they are on the same subnet and see what happens

The '<b>requesting ethernet network address</b>' &nbsp;is the DHCP setting. &nbsp;You either need to set a static IP on the ODroid or you need to install a DHCP server on your Windows. &nbsp;Since you likely don't have a DHCP server installed on your Windows side, your ODroid will have no IP address, and therefore, no network.<br />

If you have Windows 2003, 2008, or 2012, you should be able to add the DHCP role.<br />
If you have any other Windows, you'll need to download a DHCP server. &nbsp;Here's a free Windows DHCP server I've used before. &nbsp;<a href="http://www.dhcpserver.de/cms/" rel="ugc">http://www.dhcpserver.de/cms/</a><br />

Another solution is to connect the ODroid to your DSL or CableModem router and it should get a DHCP lease on the same subnet as your Windows system. &nbsp;You should then be able to connect to the Odroid.

Thanks again. &nbsp;I have edited interfaces, &nbsp;and now I have a slight improvement.. &nbsp;It will show eth0 as connected, &nbsp;for a few seconds, &nbsp;then switch back to either 'no network devices available' &nbsp;or 'device not managed'. &nbsp;Then it connects, &nbsp;then disconnects, &nbsp;repeat, &nbsp;repeat.

1. &nbsp;Are you sure both NIC's are Gig? &nbsp;If one is 10/100 then you probably still need a cross-over cable.<br />
2. What cable are you using? &nbsp;Should be CAT5e or better for Gig.
