Send as permission does not work

Hi Everybody,

I've given a user "send as" permission on a distribution group by adding her in the "send as" section of the exchange properties.
In her outlook web app, she doesn't see the distributionlist coming in the "from" section".
What am i missing?

Kind Regards,
Alex

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It will not appear automatically under the "From" section. You have to manually enter it: start composing a new message, make sure the From button is shown (if not, press the three dots on top, Show From), right-click on your address next to the From button and select delete key to remove it. Then, type in the address you want to Send As.

Hey Vasil,

thank you for the follow up.
As I mentioned earlier: the user is working in the office 365 mail web app, where she doesn't have the possibility to type in an alternative send as address. I've added a picture for clarification.

Kind regards,
Alex

And as I said earlier, right-click on her address in the field next to the From button, remove it, enter the new one :)
