No reason why Office 2013 should not work on that machine. I have done this myself. <br />

Ensure you have a solid internet connection when you try to open just in case it is the click-to-run install (which most are nowadays). &nbsp;Often there will be updates pending that require the internet before the application will run.

It is not a click to run, the installation was successful. I can see the items on the start menu. However clicking on the menu items or browsing to location of the exe and clicking does not load the application

MS Office applications not loading on Windows 8i

An office suite is a collection of bundled productivity software (a software suite) intended to be used by knowledge workers.
