Note: While Disk2Vhd MAY work, it is NOT a supported method of conversion. &nbsp;There is the possibility that it won't work. &nbsp;Period. &nbsp;I have used it to convert SBS 2008 (and that's what I THINK you mean since 2007 doesn't exist) and to get it working I needed to ensure it had enough resources (2 CPU, 4-8 GB of RAM (don't recall what setting I used)).

I am using sysinternals disk2vhd to convert SBS 2007 to a virtual server on Hyper-v. The only way it worked was by creating a VHDX. &nbsp;When I bring it up in hyper-v I get a blue screen with the error<br />

Error converting SBS 2007 from physical to virtual

Virtualization is the act of creating a virtual (rather than actual) version of something, including (but not limited to) a virtual computer hardware platform, operating system (OS), storage device, or computer network resources.
