Google Not Updating Revised Site

I have a client who just renovated their entire site. Three days later (after the URL was resubmitted to Google) - the old site and search listings - with the old page titles are still showing on a google search. How can I get Google to get rid of the old listing and assure that the new listing reflects the new site and page structure?

Jason is right, you have to be patient.  The Googlebot may only visit the site once every 3 to 6 months.  However... you can speed that up a little by submitting a sitemap thru Google Webmaster Tools.  https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
