Backup Cisco Configs

Hey Guys,

We have a large amount of cisco switches, and i was wondering is the best way to do a full backup of each switch, and in the event it has a hardware failure and i need to 'import' the config into the new same model switch what is the best way to do so without me having to copy/paste and reconfigure..?

You can do it manually - just use tftp server with command - "copy run tftp"
Or you can do it automatically by using SNMP with some of the following software - Spectrum, Cisco Prime ...
If you want an automated solution you could consider looking into Cacti with the RouterConfigs

I don't need automated. The configs don't change.
