Window Server Essentials rol stuck at 87%

I am trying to configure the Windows Server Essentials role to a server 2012 but while configuring it gets stuck at 87% and says "An error occurred while configuring windows server essentials. please try again." Very helpful error message Microsoft, thanks...

I tried removing and reïnstalling it, but it keeps erroring.

Event viewer shows nothing, only found this in the CBS log:
