To watch BBC iPlayer from outside the UK you only need a proxy server based in the UK not a full VPN and there are lots of such services but I cannot recommend any.<br />

Personally I'd never trust a FREE VPN service as they have full access to your internet traffic through their servers and if they aren't charging you .. then how to they make money??? &nbsp;maybe with your data??<br />

I've used AirVPN and IPVanish in the past and both work well but they both have a monthly fee. I've also heard from people happy with NordVPN but i'd recommend you shop around.<br />
You should also note that routing all your internet traffic through a VPN will affect speed and performance so it is worth testing your VPN provider before committing longer term to a monthly subscription.

How to setup a VPN on an iMAC
