Customers co-workers can see appointment information in Outlook 2010

Hi,

Can you please assist me with this a customer is reporting that his co-workers can see appointment information in Outlook 2010 . Attached is his current calendar Permissions. Is there a way the information can be hidden rather than marking as private? Can the result match the second screenshot.

Change your permission level to NONE and that will hide the info.

None will also stop the free/busy information from being seen.

I would check whether another user can open the mailbox as well. The default settings are to just see the free/busy information, not the complete detail, so when a user can, it often means that they have more permissions than they should.

Therefore check if they can open the mailbox.

Thanks for your help somebody from security somehow decided that getting the everyone group full permissions to the mailbox would be a good idea.

That would be the cause of the problems then - that permission trumps everything else, so everyone can see everything.
