I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Given the content takes up the full width anyway, is there a need to use the "row" and "col-" classes?

Bootstrap will by default adjust everything to full width. When you add the row class it messes with the margins, as does using the col-classes so it's easy to over use them unnecessarily.  Take them out and only use them when you need more than one column at a certain screen size.
