Cannot set custom sharing permission on outlook 2013 w/ exchange 2010....why?
Trying to share my calendar with another user with outlook 2013. It is fully patched and the exchange server 2010 is on the latest roll up.
I can share the publishing editor permission level in which the user is able to see/add/edit my calendar items. However I would prefer instead of FULL Read permissions, to have the Free/Busy Time, subject, location radio button. If I choose this, the user is no longer able to add to my calendar. Is there any way to allow them only the ability to add to my calendar, but hide the details of existing items that I may have placed?

By default if should work to add any user calendar. What is the error user is getting while adding your calendar?

If I change them to publishing editor, they have permissions to add a event. The moment I change the radio button from Full Details to Free/Busy Time, the user is no longer able to create an event.
It says "You do not have permission to perform this action"
