The Admins dont have time.  I just wanted to know how it works and what it looks like.

For example, one build I was working on yesterday the OL would not connect.  I emailed the admins and they said:  The external address was pointing to on-prem and not to O365. There was no on-prem mailbox was Outlook was confused

What does this mean?
What does 365 look like to an admin?
Is OL installed on the eu machine?  If so why is it in the cloud?

Outlook client is installed on your local PC, It connects to the cloud to download your emails from Microsofts cloud server. Alternatively, you can log into their web mail service, which works much the same way as Hotmail or Gmail.
Thanks techs!  I need to leave this open to research some more this week.  I may even have more questions.

That's fine here.  Thank you everyone.  Just make sure I can search this question when I need to look back
