VPN access

Hi,

I have a small, Private network I would like to be able to access from over the Web/internet.
can someone provide me with some quick suggestions on best way to accomplish this.

I have cable ISP/router and have public IP's.
do i just need to use a VPN router instead of My Cable ISP router or can you recommend a VPN appliance I can use along side my Cable ISP router that will allow me to VPN into the network from over the Web/internet???

Thank you

Kind of like everything else today you can spend anywhere from $100 to several hundred depending on the features your want. I have had a lot of success with SonicWall on the higher end but even the Cisco RV110W ($100) works well. It all depends on what you want.

I prefer just using one router just to keep things clean but you will be at the mercy of your ISP for that. If they will replace your existing router that came with the service with just a modem for nothing I would do it. It is never a real good idea to have a router behind a router. If, on the other hand, they won't you can get a new VPN router to work along side your existing one.
