using existing software; want a paintbrush or white eraser tool in adobe acrobat 11 PRO

I want a white paint brush

Maybe an eraser

What I normally do is upload a white image and resize

but in this case there are
2,2,4
2 month,  2 day, 4 year
8 total boxes
which would require 8 white images

Please do not just say put a 1 white image over the date box or 8 white images in the date boxes


I asked this question previously thinking I had acrobat 8 instead of acrobat PRO 11 and I awarded answer to 'upgrade your software; and acrobat 8 pro is old'
However I am getting an error upgrading software. This may be another question. I am looking for an answer that works with the existing software

Acrobat 8 introduced a set of tools that allow you to do that are called Redaction Tools. As A8 is a fairly old piece of software, not a lot of online help is available but check out this article that covers redaction and its early implementation in A8.
