A DB failure in Exchange 2010 can be resolved using ESEUTIL Soft Recovery or Hard Recovery in exchange 2010 you also have an option to create an Recovery DB of same database which is mounted in production and restore email and mailboxes from Recovery DB to Prod DB.-both refers to exchange 2010 anything about 2007?
Hi,

The ESEUTIL Soft recovery and hard recovery can also be performed in Exchange 2007. You can recover a mailbox database on exchange 2007 using Recovery storage group. Refer the below link please
