CD, DVD, BR Data Recovery Software

Hello
I have several CDs, DVDs, BRs that I burnt a long time ago to store the software I purchased. These are mainly executable files and  folders containing programs.
Some of these media are old and Windows has trouble reading them. What is for you the best software to force reading damaged media and recover my data? I saw many on the web but don't know how good they are and if they can recover executables (many of them seem to focus om multimedia files such as mp3, images, video files...)
Thanks

CDs and DVDs are subject to mechanical alignment problems which can make them hard to read on drives other than the ones used to record them.  While that's not very common now, it used to be a big problem.  Early CD drives used to have alignment screws on the back panel and I used them too many times.  If you can, try them in a different drive.
