You could try unistalling Office 2016, and reinstall it and see if you can not install the Outlook part of it.<br />

You might also have to remove Office 2003 and install it with just the Outlook part.<br />
<br />
Having multiple installs of Outlook are not supported and will cause issues like this.<br />

It's time to get rid of SBS 2008 and get your environment up to a supported level.

Agree, time to get rid of SBS, I dont think that Office 2016 is supported Exchange 2007 or prior. &nbsp;You would have to revert to Outlook 2013. &nbsp;I do believe that you can remove just outlook 2016 and install just Outlook 2013.<br />

This is slated for this summer <br />
I saw that article AFTER i found that outlook would not work .<br />
Also I am going to 2003 not 2013 .. If I had 2013 ..which microsoft would not sell me .. I would be good .

When deploying Office 2016 it will ask which components to upgrade. Your could upgrade all but outlook 2003.<br />

It might still remove the old outlook (I rarely run things side by side to avoid issues as before mentioned by others). If this is the case you can re-install the old outlook 2003. Not optimal, but does work for some users that I have seen. Another option is giving user access to the OWA website for web based email.<br />
<br />
Also I believe that you can simply create a new mail profile with Outlook 2003 (Control Panel--&gt;Mail), and connect to exchange, which will re-download Exchange side mails. You will likely lose some rules etc, but its more then having nothing.

It did not ask what components . It did a full install I tried it twice <br />
I even tried to see if i could do a partial unintall to remove the components I did not want .<br />
no soap .. The install just comes as one file you click it and it just does the entire install with no questions asked .

You can install Office 2016 along side Office 2003. &nbsp;Just set the default mail program to Outlook 2003.<br />

Once installed it solved the excel issue but now the outlook wont work with the Exchange server on SBS 2008 .
