We use our own solution for clients to stream their backups to our site (Veeam CloudConnect). It's revenue for us instead of Microsoft or other third party. ;)

I am looking for a cloud based service from someone that offers virtual server hosting in cold storage mode (shutdown). <br />

Currently we have a physical server running Windows 2012 Hyper V hosting 1x VM (Domain controller / File server. <br />
Our data is backed up to cloud storage but I would also like to export the VM to the cloud for disaster recover, for example, fire/flood etc so the server could be spun up from any location and logged into if required. &nbsp;I understand there would be security updates missing but that doesn't seem a massive issue. &nbsp;I've looked around and the prices seem to be very steep because of the size of the VM 600 Gig. <br />
I'm not sure what to do for the best but I need to have a backup server offsite.<br />

Administration and configuration of the host OS and the guest virtual machines is generally done over the network.
