ASKER

I do not have any, but I think my requirement for this capability means I need to purchase one. True?
Oh, sorry, I thought you have Acrobat. It doesn't have to be Acrobat that you purchase, but it does have to be a product that can edit the content of PDF files. Regards, Joe

You're welcome. I haven't tried the product that Paul posted (and he said that he hasn't, either), so if you give it a spin, please let us know how it goes for you. One thing I noticed about it is that its last update was 2014-05-26, nearly two years ago. That's not necessarily bad, but something of a red flag, and if you have any problems with it, you may want to consider a commercial product with a more up-to-date release, especially if you're using W10.

I am actually ready to buy, to end the headaches.

What is the cheapest way into the Adobe world?

(pause for hysterical laughter)

There's only one way into Adobe's world and that's to spend the money they want you to spend :)

Acrobat DC Standard is $13/month under the CC license.  I'm not 100% sure you can still buy standalone Acrobat anymore but it's worth a try to see if a reseller carries it:

You can...right at the Adobe site:

But it's not cheap!

You can save $30 on Pro DC at Amazon:

I stand corrected!
