2nd DC gone down

Hi Guys ,
My DC2 has gone done (hardware fault)  - details below:
DC1 - Roles:  AD / DNS / All FSMO roles - Global Catalog enabled
DC2 - Roles: AD / DNS (copy of DC1) / DHCP -  Global Catalog enabled

can i add the new role DHCP on my DC1 and just authorize it?  Then would i just take the DC2 off the network and clean up AD via Metadata?  or is it best to by another server hardware and bring the server back up via backup?
Windows Server 2012DHCPActive Directory

i think ill go with cleaning up the failed DC and create a new ADC...

Mas - dhcp all working now thanks.
Now cleaning up the old DC metadata - would you suggest clean the whole server with all reference and when creating new DC - rename with new IP & computer name - or keep the same IP & computer name?
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

If you assign the same name and IP it will not give you anything additional instead it may give you errors/warnings in future.

Mas - so best to start with with a new DC - new name & IP?
M A

Yes please
If you are good in cleaning AD database you can else please don't think of keeping same name and IP.
