While I appreciate you stating the obvious, it is NOT an answer to the question I asked.

Some employees, regardless of the training they receive, will never get it. Adding an additional level of security is a smart move.

I happen to think that Symantec is very expensive and I know there are many, many solutions that are less expensive.

Q: "I am interested in hearing what people have to say about the best, low cost, virus/malware solution."

Hoping to get more feedback/ personal experiences on some of the other options available.

Symantec for 10 users is reasonably priced. There are others: Kaspersky, ESET and others. But I would pick a paid brand name to use. Paid versions offer support when needed.
