I am not sure about MAC, but instead of Save as PDF, can you Print, and then Print to PDF. The Printer setup should allow you to set page ranges just like real printing.

I have a 246 page doc that I want to save 2 pages at a time as a PDF file so I will end up with 123 PDF files.<br />

When I try to Save as PDF in Word and select pages 1 &amp;&nbsp;2 it keeps saving the whole doc as a PDF.
