Navigate to the Recipient Configuration &gt;&nbsp;Distribution Group &gt;&nbsp;and then right click the distribution group that needs to receive external emails, and go to properties. Mail Flow Settings tab&gt;Message Delivery Restrictions&gt;Properties, uncheck &quot;Require that all senders are authenticated&quot;, and click OK. Or you can set a transport rule for allowing to send email to one group from an external domain. Refer the below link. The same link is applicable for Exchange 2010<br />

You have to do both tasks in the answer above - changing the restriction settings and setting a transport rule. You cannot do one or the other. <br />
With the delivery restrictions it is either all or nothing.<br />
Therefore if you want to receive any external email then you need to remove the restriction and use a transport rule to control who can send email to the group. <br />

The group does not have the &quot;Require all senders to be authenticated&quot; checked. I need a Transport rule that will allow one domain to send email to the group. When I use the Transport Rule wizard, none of the options I tried are working. Any help with this would be appreciated.
