How to activate Vpro on HP deskpro 400 G3
I have a hp 400 deskpro g3 with an Intel I7 -6700 cpu with vpro. I do not see AMT or anywhere to activate vpro in the bios setup. I have Bios N03 ver. 02.04
I tried pressing Control - P on startup but that does not work.

maybe the last post here can help : https://communities.intel.com/thread/21261?tstart=0
Pretty sure this machine has an Intel H110 Chipset which would mean that VPro isn't supported.

But check your motherboard spec to be certain.

But what chipset is the processor connected to?
ASKER
unfortunately it says H110 chipset.
Sounds misleading to advertise vpro technology for cpu yet the chipset doesn't support it.

It's not uncommon for hardware not to be able to use all the features of the separate components. Are HP advertising it as VPro capable? Intel provide "VPro Inside" case stickers for OEMs to indicate where it's present.

Did not purchase it from HP but from Microcenter. Their Specs advertise VPro but I did not catch the H110 issue. I think that is misleading which is why its going back. Thanks so much for your help.
