internet explorer missing on windows 7
for whatever reason internet explorer is missing on windows 7 system.
the program files\internet explorer directory is there but iexplore.exe is not
i try to enable the service in windows features by selecting internet explorer 11 and get the following error
i tried to right click and uninstall internet explorer 11 but get presented with the same error.
i then tried to download ie 11 again and it tells me a most recent version is already installed.
Any help on this?

Try going to "Programs and Features", click on "Turn Windows Features on or off" and then check the "Internet Explorer" box if unchecked.

You could try this as well:
Use Win-key+R
Paste this in the Run box and see what happens,
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff
