Generic progress indicator
I need something generic that will work on any code, to show that progress is actually occurring when running any macro that would cause Excel 2010 to stall out and display the "not responding" message. This is a common problem with large data sets.
I'm looking for anything that I can easily place into existing code to make sure the user knows that the macro is actually running and hasn't hung.
Assistance is greatly appreciated.

You can display text on the Excel status bar. I usually include a timestamp (NOW value) at the front of the text.

Thank you.
Ok. That sounds good. Can you show me?
