FoxPro .frx file - Embed an image
I am currently working in FoxPro 7.0 (I know it's old), and I am trying to add an image to a .frx file.
We use this .frx file as a report format for printing a ticket for our customers. I have been able to add the .bmp file to the .frx file using Insert Control ->Picture/ActiveX bound. I can save it and close it in VFP 7.0 and open the .frx file again and it remembers the image every time.
However, within the application itself that I point to this .frx file for printing the ticket it prompts me every time to locate the .bmp file. Once I point to it the .bmp file the ticket prints fine with the logo and all works. Then the next time I go to print the ticket it prompts me to point to the file again. Why is this path not being remembered?

Process Monitor pointed me to where it was looking for the .bmp file. Once placed in that directory it worked like a charm. Thanks.
The image is not technically 'embedded' in the VFP Report Form.
Instead the image file is referenced via its fully pathed location.
As Pavel has indicated above, the problem you are encountering may be due to pathing problems where the Report Form cannot 'find' the image file and is therefore 'asking' you where to find it.
