Hp Proliant DL 380 Gen 9

I purchased the (Proliant DL 380 GEN 9) server to replace an aging 5 year old HP server. The server is VM  and is split  with MS Server 2012 R2 . It's a very important server  since its a file server and domain controller

To my surprise yesterday I noticed one of the hard drives is amber in color which I know means its failing. I did notice that the other drives are green and the"Do not remove " icon is lit next to  the hard drive icon

The drive that failed is amber and " Do not remove" icon is NOT lit

I assume that I can pull the amber drive and replace it? I assume the "DO not remove" is lit on the  good\green drives because of the failed drive.

This is the 2nd time in less then a year I have had to replace a hard drive  on this server. The last time I did I just swapped it out and all was well  but I just do not remember the "DO not remove" being lit on the GOOD drives

I do not want to take chances so I thought I would ask

Your RAID controller's utility should tell you the state of your disks and the arrays. When you replace disks, make sure they are enterprise class, certified for that server model by the manufacturer. Don't just go and use any type of disk. I also don't recommend the use of RAID 5. The other RAID levels are far more reliable.
Do you have the Array Configuration Utility to check, before you remove any drives ?

Do you have a spare disk to swap the failed disk ?

Yes I did call HP yesterday when I noticed the amber color of the drive  and they had a dive shipped before we opened. I did notice the errors in ILo

The drive in place and I hope all is well. The error did clear and DNR icon  is  no longer lit

This is the first time  I had 2 hard drives fail on the server
