Testing an Application on Windows 10 (Application Migration Project)
Heyas,
I been given the task for testing an application in Windows 10 that was developed using the .NET framework (C-Sharp, ASP.NET, SQL) currently running on the Windows 7 desktop environment dependencies are various Windows Services and .NET Framework SQL Server 2008. I have familiar with using 'dependency walker' and Microsoft's ACT, I intend to perform a full regression tests and validate all the data written to the database to make sure their are no changes there. Anything I should be aware when testing this software. I primarily fishing for ideas of what to keep an eye out for as I am not a professional tester.
Thank you.
