we have developed many issues with printing in Citrix in the last 6 weeks

not sure if new windows updates, or printer drivers, are the cause, but our performance in opening/generating and printing Crystal Reports has gone from a few seconds to more than 5 minutes

is there anybody else experiencing printing issues in Citrix, XenApp, 6.5?

Printing issues are maybe the single most difficult issue in a RDSH/Citrix environment. If some bad printer drivers have been installed this can cause all sorts of trouble. Did an update or a new printer make a change recently?

yes, we replaced some Sharp copiers in one business unit and changed another business unit from Canon to Konica Minolta copiers
both of those sites are now experiencing issues even at the open a Crystal Report stage, log before running the report and printing it

The fact that it is exhibiting problems opening these reports as well as printing them suggests there is an underlying issue, although it could still be related to the driver(s).

Does running a Process Monitor capture at the time of the long opening reveal anything particular?
