Driver deployment with WSUS
Experts, it's been ages since I deployed a driver using WSUS.
I have no clue why it wouldn't work and I hope you have.
I did:
open http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=geforce+9500
Selected the newest driver for win10, imported it and approved it on WSUS 3 (latest updates applied to wsus). The clients (just 2 in this test case) don't detect it. The reporting says, it's not needed anywhere. How come?
Did I forget there was a setting that tells clients not to take drivers from WSUS? I don't think so.
Because If I don't import it directly but download the .cab file to a folder and extract it, the test client successfully installs it, so it's the correct driver and it is newer than the previous one.

Unsolved mystery.
Instead, I use Windows Deployment Service (WDS) to deploy operating systems for the workstations and that's where I have the updated drivers.
