I think it affects us at various occasions. I have had this issue once or twice but not nearly as frequently as some people report. <br />

For short posts, I grin and bear it. For long posts and articles, I compose in a text editor or word processor.

The problem is that I use embedded tags like quote and bold very often, any alternative that will be recognized when I paste it back at the EE site?<br />

Any time I have lost connection (not frequently, really), I have lost my post.

You mean to say that the tags used within the text are causing it?<br />
I would not say so, as many times I am just reading stuff and have many tabs of EE open, and then suddenly all is gone, like in attached example.<br />
<br />
FYI- It wasn't always like this, I guess someone must let EE know how badly this is affecting users, and they should let us know when site is going thru maintenance..<br />

Tags sometimes cause it. &nbsp;Especially when I write articles I compose in a word processor or on my wordpress blog, because just navigating around a document with numbering on EE or bullet points, when you are writing, can cause a crash or just your iteration of EE to disconnect making one lose everything. &nbsp;After losing a couple of hours worth of work, I learned my lesson. &nbsp;Many of us have informed the powers that be at EE of this problem.

Actually I just finished re-write all my notes I had ready to post yesterday &amp;&nbsp;bingo, it just happened again, luckily this time I was constantly saving it to word, so 80% of my work got recovered..that brings me to believe what you're saying that its also depending on what yu type to cause that to happen.<br />
<br />
However still wondering why when this happens to one tab, all other tabs connected to EE get lost?<br />

Hi Experts,

I am lately experiencing very often that my EE connections get lost, today I was in middle of writing up a long message when I got the attached.

(wondering if there is any way to recover, as I didnt close that tab yet?)

Is this something wrong in my end or perhaps EE site is under maintenance?
