xendesktop lingering

Hi, we are running a xendesktop environment on windows 2012R2 servers.
We have activated session lingering to close inactif session after 2 minutes inactivity.
All works fine apart from 1 problem.
When users launch windows explorer (as an application) xendesktop doesn't seem to recognise that the user is running an application.
Therefore, after 2 minutes, the users is logged out of his session (even when they are still browsing there folders)
As a work around we have suggest to our users to open another application (for example Word), but some users have limited access to applications and use windows explorer as their main applicatoin....

What causes this? How could we make sure that xendesktop does recognise the open application and keeps the session open until there really is no applicaton running...

What command line are you using to publish windows explorer?

ASKER

path to executable file: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe
command line argument (optional): y:\
working directory: y:\

y:\ is the mapped network drive containing the company documents
I have many customers doing this same scenario. When you say logged out of their session, do you mean their explore window closes? or does Web Interface/StoreFront log them off?

The explorer closes and the windows logging off window is shown
would try to copy explorer.exe to myexplorer.exe and publish these file.
windows sometimes handles explorer.exe other than non system-files.
