Active Directory DirSync to Office 365
Getting ready to move to Skype for Business hosted with Office 365.
Has anyone done this migration
Any Tips or suggestions to prevent issues
---
We already use O365 for Mail so we already have some users contacts there, but this is requesting groups, users, and I'm not sure, but does it read the Group Policies of our domain?

I ended up having to change my domain name...this was a challenge
Did it.
Uploaded AD to O365, managed to get the groups set up and have moved our VOIP services to SfB.
Still managing AD locally and only allowing Distribution Groups to associate users in O365, and removed the Security Groups from impacting those accts as well.
I've become very familiar with 0365 in the past week and have done two transfers for two different companies in that time.
Not as bad as I thought it could be.
